You’ve been brewing for a while; it is now time to see what your beers are made of! Entries are now open through August 26 to the San Diego International Beer Competition at the San Diego County Fair.
Offering 60 classes from porters and pilsners to juicy or hazy pale ales, you’ll find a perfect category to enter your prized brew into. Open to any licensed brewery, brewpub, meadery or cidery, entries are $50 each for up to 10 entries. The competition celebrates the flavors, craftsmanship and innovation of a wide variety of beers, ciders and meads. Judging happens September 23 – 24 and results will be announced October 28.
Beer will be purchased from top-performing breweries to be at the San Diego International Beer Festival, during the annual San Diego County Fair.
In 2021, the San Diego International Beer Competition included over 1,100 entries from 164 breweries representing 20 states and 3 countries.
