Set in 1929 Berlin during the ascension of the Nazi regime, this Kander and Ebb classic returns to Cygnet after having a successful run there 10 years ago. The musical follows the happenings of jazzy and seedy Kit Kat Klub and its star performer Sally Bowles, alongside American writer Cliff Bradshaw, who falls for the starlet. Other players web a story of despair and debauchery during this tumultuous time in German history. This gender bending masterpiece promises to captivate San Diego audiences with its catchy tunes and engaging storyline.
