“Loving yourself is […] learning to see the best in others so that ultimately you can also learn to see the best in yourself”

I am excited to introduce our readers to amazing and caring people who live, work, play, and do business in our community and city. Learning about people of all lifestyles, talents, and personalities who I think would be interesting for our readers to enjoy. San Diego has a wonderful diversity of individuals who make our slice of paradise the greatest place to live and enjoy each other’s uniqueness.

How did you end up in San Diego and what do you love about it?

I was born and raised in San Diego. It’s such a fun, diverse place and the weather is usually perfect. I love that we only have two seasons, summer and summer.

What gets you most excited about life?

Knowing that the possibilities are endless.

In your professional life what makes your business stand out and how has it changed your life?

Drag has completely changed my life. It has taught me how to love myself, but most importantly it’s introduced me to a community of people that have embraced me with open arms, and I truly can’t imagine life without them.

What small act of kindness were you once shown that you’ll never forget?

My Drag mother, Kickxy Vixen Styles, has been a class act of kindness. I always say, “I have no idea what Christian act I did to deserve her”, but I’m so grateful for her.

If the universe could grant you one wish, what would you wish for, and why?

Probably an asteroid? I’m kidding, kinda lol. It breaks my heart knowing how much this civilization and society that we’ve built destroys the earth and lives out of harmony with nature. I guess I would wish for our society to live in harmony with nature and not be driven by greed but I think an asteroid might be easier lol.

If you were given the opportunity to travel anywhere in the world, and were able to take one person with you, where would you go, who would you take, and why?

I would love to go to Peru and have my guide be with someone indigenous to the land. I want to like climb Machu Pichu with a llama and chewing coca leaves, lol.

If you had a chance to spend one million dollars on someone, or any group of people, who would it be and how would you spend that money to better them?

I would love to just go to the mall, find some random retail worker and just be like, “Here, you’re free from the rat race. Go follow your dreams.”

If you could give someone advice about your art, hobby, or business what would you tell them?

The most important thing is to have fun. If you’re not having fun then neither is the audience. And don’t run around snatching money, you look crazy, lol. Find what makes you uniquely you and share that with the world.

Loving yourself is so important to becoming the best of who you are. Please write a couple sentences to describe your loving self and how you want to live your best life?

Loving yourself is truly something that might take a while. It’s not only about getting massages and treating yourself. It’s learning to see the best in others so that ultimately you can also learn to see the best in yourself.

Gratitude is so important in each of our lives, what are you most grateful for, and how do you pay it forward?

I’m grateful that in this very moment, I have the audacity to follow my dreams. I’m also very grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been given. I like to share the wealth by being generous with those around me and always come from a place of abundance. I like to consider myself a conduit for the universe to share its gifts through. I feel that if you think of money as a resource it will always be a resource.
